Completing a night rating course will provide you with the ability to pilot a helicopter at night.
Night Ratings generally consist of 5 hours of flight training after sunset.
We offer night rating training throughout the
year.
Your Night Rating course must include at least 3 hours of dual flight instruction, 1 hour of cross country navigation and 5 solo night circuits.

To begin a night rating course, you must have accumulated 100 hours of flight time since the issue of your helicopter licence. Included in this must be 60 hours of Pilot in Command time and 20 hours of cross-country flight.
Once this phase has been completed, we finish off with 5 hours of flying at night which includes:
